I currently have rims and tires which in their current design iteration are tubeless compatible. Mine are at least a couple generations old, though, and I have no way of knowing whether they are designed to be run tubeless or not
. I made a non-tubeless ready tire work on the rear of my MTB, but I'm willing to take more chances on that than on a road bike.

Yeah, I wouldn't go ghetto tubeless with road stuff. The good news (unless you're a retrogrouch) is that tubeless-ready rims have mostly taken over the market - it's really hard to bu a quality wheel/rim that isn't tubeless ready - so the next set of wheels that you buy will probably have the capability, should you have an itch to try it out.
'll probably make the switch when it comes time to replace my rims, but that's even several years away with how much and where I ride. I'm not exactly on the brakes very much here in northern IL

My current favorite condiment -

Great on things like egg rolls and potstickers. Also good on chicken nugget/tenders. Mixed with mayo, it would probably be great on fries.

My gripe for the day is that the rear tire on my Trek is flat.
On my Wednesday night ride it became noticeably soft but didn't go totally flat, I stopped a couple of times to top it off with my pump and after the last time it seemed like it held pressure fine, like the leak fixed itself somehow. Came out into the garage to go to work yesterday and it was totally flat.
I guess I need to put the bike on the stand and clean it anyways after getting drenched, but it's still obnoxious. I'm sure when I get to fixing it I'll be wishing I had a waxed chain like WhyFi

before I finally fixed it.
How many years since I last rode a century? 4, maybe
