There is an old saying "I make plans to break plans" if you need an excuse to ride outside.

The forecast yesterday was rain: didn't happen. The forecast last night was rain: didn't happen.
At 4:30 am it was not raining and so I head out, first day on the bike in over a week (flu), and 15 miles from home it begins to pour and it doesn't stop. I managed to stay warm at least so I don't think I compromised my immune system.
Blah, blah, blah, anyway do I get my hardman title. #deserthardman #

Dammmmmmmit I lost my nipples!
Broke a spoke and late for work and nooooo nipples.

Normal snowstorm here in SW CT. Nothing out of the ordinary. May be worse elsewhere.

Oh, it's going to be two feet plus. Lotta snow out there. I actually had to go to work today. I'm typing this from the lab even now! All done, just need to get lunch with colleagues and go home. I was, surprisingly, able to ride my cross bike over. The roads are not great but they're working to keep the major streets clear enough that I have a route. The lack of traffic made it surprisingly pleasant riding, I can just cruise down the middle of the lane. Which is good, because it helps to be able to pick your own line with so much snow on the road. Some lanes are better than others. Still, it will be nice to get home.

i'm supposed to be "working from home" which thus far has involved drinking lots of coffee and watching frozen.

Aren't you supposed to learn the message from that movie that "cold doesn't bother you anyway" and get your ass out riding? Maybe I didn't understand the movie all that well. There was something about love and trolls and goofy idiots who tried to stop the hero from building a sweet-ass ice fortress in the mountains and getting away from all the freds and idiots and just hanging with her ice monster. That and there was some sort of message about global warming being a hoax or something, but I don't really go in for all that girly stuff. Just let the chick be in her mountains by herself you leeches.

I haven't seen it either, since I don't have kids or a teenager for a girlfriend.
