Ergon GR3 and Mirror idea needed

As I think through the build up of our LHT's one item for my wife's bike I cannot work out. As for mirrors I use a helmet one but she likes a handle bar mounted one. We are leaning toward a flat bar with Ergon GR3 grips.
Anyone have a pic or mirror suggestion for this set-up?
Thanks!

I wonder the same thing. I have a mirror that mounts in the bar end. I had to cut out the end plug of the stock grips to put it on into the bar tube ends. Is the same possible with the Ergon grips? Would doing so seriously undermine their use? Perhaps make them slid around?

Also, I see these grips available online and see them in the LBS individually carded. When they are online are they sold as a PAIR or by the piece? Depending on the model they seem to be like $30 - $50 a "unit", but it fails to mention what a "unit" is, a pair or a piece.

Those are problematic because the barend has no endcap. But it does have a central hole that goes through the end clamp. If you take a Mirrycle and cut off the plastic extension that normally goes INTO the handlebar, pass the bolt through the central hole on the end clamp, then slide the piece you cut off back on on the INSIDE and assemble the rest as usual - the barend can then be installed and the mirror tightened up.

Because of the barend - its best to orient the mirror downwards instead of upwards.

seems sensible , the bolt hole is small .. a 4mm one .. so bar end remains solid enough,

vs taking it out to 7/8"

Great idea! I never would of thought of that.

So, are these usually sold by the SINGLE piece or a PAIR? none of the sites seem to explain this. Fairly expensive if my the piece.

Ergon Grip packaging is a cardboard tube glued into a molded paper fiber Box,

they are quite proud of their clever recyclable packaging ..

less clever customers, cannot figure out the other grip is inside the box part of the packaging..

the mirror is an each per package, as most people only buy one.

Try the ZEFAL Mirror Spy. It attaches most anywhere on handlebar or Ergon GR3 grip.

I use and recommend the Busch & Mueller cyclestar mirror with the GC3 Ergon grips.
From memory I sourced mine from SJS Cycles in the UK.

Its obvious that Americans drive on the wrong side but I blame their automobile manufacturers who clearly read the instructions back to front.
