We’re 10 pages deep in this thread. That more pages than any of the 100 Mile/km threads in the last year. Lots of riding going on. That’s great!

Bike broke today, so my plan of a 20+ miler was a 2.6 miler with mom coming to rescue me...

July 4: 8.32
July 7: 11.64
July 9: 21.91
July 13: 17.37
July 15: 20.13
July 17a: 1.53

July 24a: 38.57
July 24b: 11.03
July 28: 2.61
MTD: 151.46
YTD: 694.6

Crank arm went flying due to a lost bolt. I'll get back at it soon enough.

Another big ride in early morning cooler weather. 900 looking like a real possibility for July If I get out early like this morning. I can only imagine what might have been had I not experienced those 13 missing or low mileage days.

I was riding with my 35 year old bike today, it's really still nice to ride, downtube shifters, 12 speed, I do have index shifting and the best part Phil Wood hubs (they are still silky smooth).

To say it’s been brutal would be an understatement. We’re trying to escape the heat in the mtns. of VA, but unless you get out really early, the sun, heat and humidity take its toll. I actually thought today wasn’t too bad - I left at 6:30 AM and finished by 10:00.

First, congrats! Another big win. Second, you must be tall to be riding such a large bike? It’s a real beauty!

I'm 6'-3". That bike used to be a bright red. Saving for L'eroica events (whenever they have one near me) I will have to switch the pedals back.

I was able to put in almost four hundred miles before I took a nasty fall on July 8th and then had to have emergency surgery last week. Its been a horrendous July for me and hoping to be back on my new TREK by the beginning of September. So miss the open road!!! RIDE ON!!!

I struggled in the intense humidity despite an early departure. Maybe I’m beat up and need a break.......I’ll reach 900 if I have to walk the last few miles, LOL!

Hey, was wondering where you were. Sorry about your fall, unfortunately part of life and biking. Three years ago I was attacked by a wild dog and broke my pelvis, two nights in UVA Hospital.

Take it slow, PT really helped me recover faster. Don’t know what injuries you sustained, but wish you the best.
