Spd pedal plugs for my shoes- removing Spd clip

Didn't know what subforum to post this on.

I''ve converted to flats after many years using Spd pedals. However, I want to keep using my Five-Tens shoes. They came with some plugs (see pic) originally but they've since broke.

Where can I get another set of plugs? I can't find anything online. Maybe my Google-Fu is weak? I tried contacting Five Tens customer service but no response after 2 weeks.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Can you or a shoe repair person make an insert to go into that cavity? I'm thinking a piece of old stiff leather sole would work.

Cheers

Remove the cleats and fill the slots with shoe goo?

Shoe goo is a good idea and you can even use it to glue the plugs back in.
