(Having said that, try to spec it out full Chorus and decent finishing kit. Bianchi of late seems to be on the bandwagon of 3rd party cranks and house finishing kit and such.)
I am seriously interested in the very same Bianchi too. Does the 3rd party crank make such a difference? Is it worth it?

The guy sucking my wheel today was on a 928 C2C. That thing was pretty damn ugly. And he sucked my wheel for 10 miles. And I was on fixed. In hills.

Votes are overwhelmingly in the Bianchi camp.. and I'll add in a +1. Not just the frame, but Chorus over Ultegra any day.
I ride an older Bianchi, but have friends who ride Madones, and I actually like them quite a bit... but the bikes as spec'd? Yep... Bianchi.

If the Madone feels better on the road, and you like it more, get it.
I wouldn't be caught dead on a Trek,or Cannondale, Giant, or Specialized.
Bianchi is fairly eccentric so it gets my vote. If you want to get "out there" Italian I'd go Olmo or Fondriest though.

i looked at Bianchi last year but haven't ridden one, so do your own comparison. But... I bought an 07 Madone 5.2 and absolutely love it: fast and very comfortable to ride.

Bianchi, Bianchi, Bianchi.
It's tough to beat a Campy grouppo. Smooth, buttery, exotic.

What are you talking about? Buy American if you are in the US. Don't buy European! Mucho expensive with the exchange rate and all.

It's a function over form debate right? A bike with an ugly seat tube/ seatmast arrangement or one that looks like it was left out in the sun and the top tube / down tube melted.
I still vote Madone. Although I think Chorus at that price point is good.
Seriously, one isn't "calling" you?

+1. I chose a Bianchi Veloce over a Trek 5200 a couple of years ago because of fit. The 57mm Veloce fit like a glove. Neither the 56mm or 58mm Trek seemed to "work" I'm aware the 5200, being Ultegra and Carbon would be considered a upscale choice but fit was the key factor.

Adding a very biased Bianchi vote. Though, I do like the 928SL frames better.

Are you influenced by riding something a little less common on something more common, ie Bianchi vs Trek? Relative to components, the Chorus group is excellent. Further up the food chain of groups than the 105. I ultimately thing however that you should be completely influenced by fit and comfort. If there is no difference between the geometry of both bikes, then it's more of a beauty contest. As for components, you will over the next 5 years begin to swap and upgrade here and there, carbon this, close out top of the line that, great deal on very nice wheels, etc.

Once you have it, of course.
