Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Don't give up. I missed the group buy, originally, but was able to find somebody to let me take over his deposit. Tony was ok with it and now I have a frame on the way.

I Googled IRO for kicks and found this...https://mobiuscycle.com/node/340

"...A new wheelset should cost you about $400 if it is worth it/safe to ride..."

"... Also, installation of even a quality cog is easy to do incorrectly. Mainly, you need grease, the proper tools, and experience to do this properly...."

"...If he had wanted fixed, he would have needed a new cog $35 EAI, new lockring $10 Dura Ace, new chain $20 Izumi eco, and a new wheel $? ..."
