Another Free Spirit Question

Another Free Spirit Question
Hey ya'll brand new to this forum. My registration e-mail is still cooling off in the inbox.
I recently found a 10 speed Free Spirit while cleaning out an attic, (along with 400 records from the 60's/70's story for a different forum) and the bike is in excellent shape. Has a magneto/light combo that also appears to be in working order. Looked like it had been sitting there for about 30 years.
The reason I'm posting this is that the bike has a factory rear brake line that runs through the tube. No matter how I google it I can't find an old free spirit with an in-tube rear brake line. Just curious if this was so standard that no one mentions it or if this is an odd detail. I had a free spirit as a daily rider 10+ years ago and don't remember anything special about it aside from constant adjustment of the derailleurs.
Have tried to upload a few pictures and it's giving me problems. Won't upload at a smaller file size either. Anything ya'll know about the bike is appreciated.

Free Spirits had a number of different manufacturers over the years, including Puch in Austria. I had a Puch that had this internal brake cable routing, like you describe. I'll post a pic so you can verify it's what you mean. Once you hit ten posts, you'll be able to post your own pics -- just a spam preventative measure for the forum.

I had one of the Murray/Huffy boat anchors, a $10 yard sale "treasure"(?). I kept it at work for noontime bike rides with my colleagues, and I was not terribly heartbroken when it got stolen.

You're the man. That is indeed the one. Thank you! Even knowing what it is, googling a combination of Puch/Free Spirit/ Bergmeister the images are all over the place. I never would have figured this out on my own. Has the same hook drop down from the top tube but only on one side. Any idea what those were for?
I'll post pictures here as soon as I've gotten 10 posts in. Need to change the tires and tubes and clean up all of the moving parts, rewrap the bars etc... We're supposed to have a snow storm here Sunday but maybe I'll try and take it for a ride next week.

I'll take some better pictures soon and get them on here but I priced cleaning out this attic in DC (as part of remodeling a kitchen/dealing with a mouse problem). I get up there and in addition to the Free Spirit/Puch I found upwards of 400 records all from the 60's/70's. Mostly black artists, jazz, funk, reggae, pop... It's unbelievable. Bought an audio technica turntable a couple of weeks ago and we're going through them. Need to figure out how to flatten about 50 of them.
So far I've cleaned about 100 of them. Downloaded Discogs last night and I may grab a bottle of whiskey for the weekend and see if I can catalog everything.

No valuations from me. I think I've got a decent idea. Plus I live in an area with a pretty hot cycling market. These pump pegs are clamp on which is nice. Easy to swap/remove. Need to get new rims for my Nishiki this week as well. I've retaped the rims twice, inspected the tires a half dozen times and keep getting flats. Doesn't inspire confidence in biking to work. FBOATSB I grew up in Elkhart, IN. Indiana's a nice place to cycle.
