If so, you can change it (just press on the field for a while).

On edit: that didn't work but there is a setting for "show elevation profile." I turned it off. It still shows in the field setup, but hopefully not when I actually navigate.

Yeah, the elevation profile (with all the green) is another thing. (I don’t find that useful.) The profile is also enabled by default.
