Help identify a semi-new Nishiki?
Hello all! I'm thinking about buying this Nishiki off FB marketplace. Listed for 80. I was hoping on getting a model or maybe a value for the bike. Do your magic. Thanks! Also, any thoughts for a beginner on this model? I'm interested in getting an "old school" mountain bike; nothing over 100 dollars. Thanks!

That's a low end Dick's Sporting Goods bike, isn't it? Not that there's anything wrong with that if it fits your needs and budget. Where I am, if it's clean and in nice shape it might be worth $80. I'd offer $50 and see what happens...

I found various pictures online of Nishiki 'Pueblo' models with the same paint and decal scheme. Most of them seem to have grip shifters instead of Shimano EZ Fire, though.

that particular bike is a cheaply made steel frame bike with integrated derailleur hanger. it has cheap components added on to it. maybe for riding around your neighborhood its ok but don't plan on taking it offroad.

This bike surprises me that Nishiki would even put their name on it, but a contract with Dicks likely pays a lot of bills.
Nishiki hasnt made a true high end bike in a long time - since maybe the Alien and Cascade days, but even so, this machine hits a new low - check out those fork dropouts and chainstay dimples
