Garmin Cadance Sensor Straps

I have finally broke a strap, it wore out. So I need the middle size. I don't not like paying for something I don't need. Is there any source for just one size? I wouldn't mind buying three of the same size.

I just use a zip tie to attach the sensor to my crank arm.
I put a small piece of rubber inner tube under the sensor.
Seems to work for me
That's a pretty cheap alternative

When this happened to me, I stopped by my local shop and they had one laying around they just gave me. Depends on your relationship with them. Also, maybe try to contact Garmin. They have been very good with warranty and replacing stuff.

Contact Garmin and explain what happened. They might hook you up

Find some neodymium aka "rare earth" super strong disk magnets and attach them to the end of your pedal spindle to replace the conventional strap-on sensor. They work great for cadence sensors (which are just magnets, no?) and are invisible and you'll never bump, break or lose them.

I found them at a local craft store (Michael's), and also on ebay and Amazon. Probably hardware stores too, but I haven't looked there. I prefer the ones with the holes because I can pop them off with a pick or such if I have to remove the pedal. But the solid ones work fine of course.

I just looked at mine and I believe they're 12mm X 3 mm - but smaller diameter and thicker would also work. You want them to sit a little proud so you can pry them off if need-be.

Best response yet. Especially since the supplied magnets are tiny and nay misalignment disturbs the signal. I have a cadence sensor and the small magnet with the strap moved a few mm forth and back and i lost cadence signal. I ended up buying 1-3/8" magnets and epoxied them on the crank and never have a problem.

I may be wrong, but I think the OP is talking about Garmin's magnet-less sensor(s).

That is what I thought. I would think you could find a strong band of the right size at a hardware store.

$5 for a set, all different sizes though, but not a big deal IMO.
