Topeak cagemount

Anyone familiar with the Topeak cage mount?

https://www.amazon.com/Topeak-Handlebar-Water-Bottle-Mount/dp/B07CKKCRW7

Got one on my handlebars and can't get it off. As I understand the side bolt should be removed and the top piece comes off, revealing a screw to turn the clamp. Got the screw off, but not the top piece.

I am looking at mine. Once the screw on the side is removed completely then the cage portion (cage plus the 3 inch long cage bracket connected to each other by two screws) separates from the clamp holder. Mine slides off easily.

I remember puzzling over it when I installed it and shortly after removed it to make more room on my handlebar. It resides in my spare bits and parts box. Do you have the instructions which were printed on the cardboard? If not I can scan mine.

Can't find my instructions, scanning would be great

I have one on the jogging stroller. Same experience as Good4u, when the screw is out the top piece should come away easily. Tightening and loosening of the grip onto the handlebars is done with another internal Allen bolt.

Thanks! Wound up taking the bike to REI, turns out it was just really stuck. Will save this for future reference

Easily installs on the seatpost or the handlebars and also on the frame (as you want in fact), the attachment seems robust, I think it will age with the bike.
