That Wabi is sick. I like how the silver SPD's provide just a little contrast. Paul Hubs? Also the matte/gloss of the saddle matches the bars/stem perfectly. Gorgeous.

Pic from last night. This is a new bike bridge they built about 10 miles from where I live. Its really nice with different on and off ramps for different street access.

Why do people always say "Thompson" when it's suppose to be "Thomson".

Stem is 110mm 10 degree.
I bought a new headset to get a black one. Richard at wabi only has silver available. I actually ordered the same headset in black (fsa orbit x) when ordering everything else from retrogression, as that is what they sell.

In response to the Thomson spelling...
Because it's easy to mistake. Anyways I use swype on my phone and it automatically spells it Thompson. I guess I didn't notice either because it's not a big deal

I finally got a chance to build a SS the will work here in Cambodia
This is what I have done;
I had to re-curve the fork, I removed the cheap claw derailleur and the freewheel which I replaced with a single freewheel, I removed the FD, the trashed triple chain ring and the bottom bracket and replaced it with an old single front chainring and new bottom bracket, I replaced the cheap V brakes with some Deore LX Canti's with some new Tektro levers. Prior to the repaint, I had the gear housing stops removed for use on another bike. I also had a newer set of grips and handlebars with a recovered seat. The wheel set I respoked to center the rim on the hub after I removed an old freewheel 7 speed and also did the front wheel to match, the original front wheel was a trashed SS rim and the rear was a lightly tacoed 7 speed that really needed help. The seat post is original
It has a 42/14 gears
I started with a really crappy hybrid

Thanks! I dig the combo myself, but I'm gonna build up some polished TB14s so I can have a really shiny rig!

That'll be nice to look at, can't wait to see it, hopefully you'll make a sky blue build in the future, for some reason any bike with that shade of blue makes me melt

So I decided to take the grips off my risers and tape them with athletic tape, but I started running out of tape once I got to the other side so it looks really ****ty and then I realize they had to put the break on before I taped because the break wouldn't go over the tape so I had to untape it and then tape it and then put the break on and then tape it again which made it look even worse.
And I actually don't believe I've shown off my bike here yet so this is it, Origin-8 with XLC pedals and MKS cages and I'm running a 45/16 gear ratio
