Where do you get the idea that good quality hubs are noisy hubs. That is absurd. Not that the two things are mutually exclusive, but the notion that there is an if and only if relationship is ridiculous. Hub noise is totally unrelated to hub quality.

Besides frame and seat. What else have you decided on? For the rest of the components? Decided on the wheels? Groupset? Stem?

A friend recently got the same frame. But he is going to take a long time to build his...

Not sure fit matters here. It's all about what everyone else thinks...

TrekMogul - Why don't you build it as you see fit? Who cares what is said or b/c it is the most expensive. At the end of the day...your opinion is really the only one that matters.

Never said the more noisy the better quality ? Never said a noisy hub was a good quality one ? Don't missunderstand what I said please, I have never tryed to make a relation between both.

You can recognize good quality hubs with the sound they make, it implies having experience hearing quality wheels and a good ear. You can have quality ones that are silent, but that doesn't affect how you can recognize other good ones

Thinking i may go with a set of MEILENSTEIN LIGHTWEIGHT SCHWARZ Ed Carbon Wheels but not sure of model yet..

why not just walk into a bike store and buy the top of line complete bike?

Also, if you are considering clearing out the stables to make room for new horses I am a size 52-54

Of the Noctilux 0.95 & Leica Type SL (601)..? The Noctilux is a monster for grabbing lots of light even in total darkness..

Both sure come in very fancy packaging..

Never been to a bike store in my area that sells hardly any the things I buy. I should say they don't STOCK the things I would buy..
