Darn it. I reluctantly hot swapped De Marchi for Cummings today. I'm not listening to David Hunter's predictions any more.

I have not been following the post mortems as closely as I would like, but unless Nacer spit the dummy on his way to the train station, I believe his behavior has been within a standard deviation of acceptable. With Richie still plugging away, albeit an hour down on GC, that makes another bet I lost.
The only thing that makes me think Sagan might NOT take stage honors is that I just rotated Pinot off my Eurosport team so he is due for a big one. No way Fraile makes an impact today. I'll be surprised if he finishes inside the time cut.

Darn it. I just noticed that my post this morning predicting Rodriguez to win the stage didn't process for some reason.
WTF is with all these breakaways? Viva la Vuelta!!

Eddie Pliers is still crushing in the VG leagues. I'm hoping with Yates and Lopez on my team and not his I will be able to close some of that, if only in the end of tour points. Those pesky Movistar lads keep hanging on for him, though.
I was sad to see my boy Bennett have a bit of a jour sans. He may get the axe a little later today when I go in to Euro-fiddle with that high touch other league.
It's looking hard to bet against Simon for stage 15. I hope Rohan takes it nice and easy in the grupetto and comes back with a few Velopoints for me on Tuesday.

^ I would have had to drop Ion to take Thibaut, so I just said no. I'm going back to De Marchi for an upset in an attempt to flail a little bit and plummet in the standings rather than coast in safe at a respectably high but not superior standing. Really, though, I think the top 10 is going to look a lot like today. Unless DeGendt and De Marchi tear it up.

^ you inspire me. I'm going to go out on a limb for stage 16 and float Rohan Dennis as an upset pick.
I would have scored well in Eurosport land had the break survived on 15. In VG World, I am pleasantly surprised to now be within 800 pts of Eddie Pliers. Papel higenico really drew to a royal flush, but I still have a shred of hope that things go down the toilet for him at the end.

I didn't read the fine print in Euro land that Cat A rider changes are not allowed after stage 15. I was just about to jump off the good ship Lopez and Yates it up a bit. Not allowed. So fly, little Miguel Angel, be magnificent. I'm still rooting for you. Unlike ooga booga for Richie Porte-Menchov-Rasmussen-VandeTalansky.
I am hoping (probably unrealistically) that George Bennett sand bagged the time trial and is going to tear it up on the next stage. Pinot might get one more crack at things, too. Though my heart wants deGendt and deMarchi to deStroy the break and outlast the GC teams.

So yesterday I replaced Rohan Dennis with Ben King after thinking Woods, back checking his results earlier in the race, then thinking the better of it. Ben is on a roll, right? !!
Pretty sure Woods is going to keep crushing it for as long as I hold on to Bennie Boy.

Viviani tomorrow. Duh. How about the rest of the bunch? I'll guess: Nizzolo, Sagan, Sarreau, Van Poppel
