Pls help-used Trek 7200 good deal?

$200 for 2006 Trek 7200. He said recently serviced. It is definitely my size. I'm a newbie. Fair deal? Thanks in advance for any responses!

Looks nice, but price wise, I would suggest trying to get it down to about $150. If you believe the bike blue book, it's only worth $75. Ebay sellers are showing that bike in various years for $125 to $250.

Really depends on how well it rides and how well you want it. From these pictures it looks good.

Editing: Reading the listing again, the seller waxed it and has maintained it at the LBS. That kind of tells me this is a well taken care of bike for someone to go that far in taking care of it. So even if you do spend $200, seems to me you could be happy on a decent deal on what appears to be a good bike.

A Trek with a Giant seat, haha

2005 Trek 7200 - BikePedia

It was less than $400 brand new. I don't think $200 is a good price, seems high, but it's not junky and in good shape. $75 seems like a price for an ill maintained and rusty example

I rode it and passed on it. Any comments on Diamondback vs Trek? I want something in the used-$200 range. (or new $350ish) Mainly just hilly fitness riding (75 miles/week)

I currently have a Diamondback Insight 1 that I bought used. I really like it except it's too small.

If you like the Insight, and can afford a new bike for $350, then get another Insight, but the proper size:

Diamondback Insight 1 Bike

Nashbar has a 25% off currently going on with free shipping. Makes a bike you already like for only $262.50 not including tax and overweight shipping charges.

If you want the Insight with Disc Brakes (controversial statements sure to follow) then Nashbar has it on sale as well for only $300:

Diamondback Insight 2 Bike
