Oh! I bought Bright Eyes for my night time commuting!

Got a free diffuser with it also and let tell me tell you guys...
It's one bright little light. I'm amazed by it! Really! It's like my own litte
ray of sunshine on my bars! And the deffuser spreads it across the entire street.
Even it's second lower setting beats my old lamp side by side. So bright I wonder
if its even legal...
And it's less then 40 bucks! 40 bucks! It's a great deal!
Just had to share!

Just click the little icon 4 from the right above where you type when replying and pull the image off your phone/computer. Itll attach to the post. Not to push you on it, but its easier/as easy as emailing.
Ive been wondering how effective it is too, since seeing it mentioned in a thread a few days ago.

It'd be nice to have a link to the product or something. I don't even really know what you're talking about, I assume it's a headlight or taillight or something.

Cons
* Cable is extremely brittle in cold weather. Mine broke and had to be spliced. Expecting it to happen again, it gets that hard and brittle.
* There is an exact duplicate from another supplier for nearly half the price on Amazon. So do some digging before purchasing. I am assuming they come from the same factory in China with a different company logo.
* Cannot charge from a USB port.

Looks like just any other cheap LED light. Exactly what I use. In fact it looks EXACTLY like the light I bought for $25 off eBay last year.

Hey, at least there's about 25 feet of cable to work with! :-)

I recently bought this light and am also pleased. However, the amount of cable is absurd, and the battery mount is not great. Other than that, it's awesome. I like how it mounts to the bars - The light has a hook and it comes with variously sized fancy rubber bands that go around your bar. It really stays put, which is nice, even over all of these Spring potholes!

That is almost no exaggeration, LOTS of cable! Only problem is the wire broke right at the connector. I will second your comments, the light assembly mounts very well to the bar and the battery case leaves something to be desired.

They look very similar to the couple I have bought from Amazon. Great lights for the price. My original battery lasted over 2 years so I recently replaced it.

This and the cheaper ones on Amazon are all just MagicShine clones.

I always assumed Magicshine and others were simply branded versions of the cheaper no name ones on Amazon. They look identical in every way. Are the branded ones better in any way?

I have no idea. If it's true that the branded ones are the same but sell for 4x-6x as much, that's some major highway robbery right there!

Magicshine is actually a brand and their current lights are not bad at all. They're a step or two over the $25 lights on eBay for sure.
