Hi,
Welcome the forum. I grew in West San Jose and Cupertino when we still had orchards. I'm now retired in Oregon.
Cheers,

Welcome
The first five years were in Florence. 2.5 years ago we moved to Salem. It's a bit hilly, but a very bike friendly city.
Cheers,
Van

If you want to get back on the bike I suggest stating easy with a Foothill out and back. Strava has some good routes (too many) for that area too. You can always join La Dolce Velo for the Waffle ride on Sunday mornings too.
