Was it not "suggested" no transfers for our league?

execute as many xfers as the game allows as you like. for the porpoises of this ramshackle league, not recognizing anyone not playing by stated preconditions. will not recognize anyone with any amount of transfers. you are free to leave the league at any point. if it means i finally win a tdf game because i’m the only one left, then so be it. i barely have time to pick daisies, much less hold hands.

I am going to cling honorably to my malshapen team until the bitter end. Then, at the bitter end, if I am behind my nemeses (or is it nemesii?), I may throw a wobbly and hit either the spoil sport disqualifying transfer button or the take my ball and go home eject button; either way, those are options for righteous indignation. And they are options that lesser people take in lieu of humiliation for those too weak stand up to morality, decorum, and the trials & tribulation of fantasy hell.

On another note, I could have sworn I posted an explicit Viviani prediction for stage 4. That, too, seems to have the way of the buffalo, Rohan trade (with no lame alibi transfer), and full head of hair. Oh well. It's probably for the best. You all must be getting tired of me being so right so often. Or just tired of me. Period.

No more posting in those annoying cul de sac threads for me. This is where it's at.

I have a small furry animal to process before I can divine the stage 5 outcome. Soon...

Good for Viviani! Of course I had swapped him out at the last second for Ben King. We'll see how smart this was come tomorrow. Mountains!

So much focus on overweight geraint, Rigo's ready to rock. Always ignored in cycling tour reports. I guess number two in 2017 less then a minute down on froome isn't enough, but let's hear more about bardet.

I'll continue on with my US centric team. So glad I decided on adding quick step at least for one of my teams!

Out on a limb for stage 5. Too soon for a break to survive? Oliver Naesen is my man, just to rub it in that I didn't put him on my team. Perhaps with de Marchi in the mix. If I'm wrong about all that, then Wout will not disappoint.

there are about a dozen riders that i fancy their chances of taking stage five. it's got that flattish 10 km off of the last climb
which will be an eternity for a solo/small breakaway. some of my faves are still a little too high up on the gc for me to
pick as winning (alaphilippe, fuglsang, pinot, nibbles, etc). i like/agree with the de marchi call but going with ll sanchez.

That's exactly what it sounded like. Glad you're grooving with my pict pick. OK, so it's a break!

Careful with that axe, Eugene and Deceunik. Don't chop up our divine prognostications.

I am glad to see that:
- Oliver Naesen gave it the old college try for me. He just couldn't get away and make the selection.
- My assessment that the other polka dot hunters wouldn't let Wellens get away was spot on. (not)
- Sagan is on my team. Nobody else picked him, right? Best kept secret!
- Wout! You little devil. Almost, lad.
- My decision to pick Groenwegen over Colbrelli has only cost me first place in the league to date if you don't ignore the guy with 5 transfers.

I want to see Nibali and Valverde go mano viejo a mano viejo tomorrow. Perhaps Danny Boy is getting long enough in the tooth and realistic enough about his GC chances to go play with them. Unfortunately, all that may be happening well behind the exuberance of a young lad from Ineos.

One more post like this and you'll be reported on conditions of raising false hopes. Yikes I hope TJ was bluffing going slow up the mountain or else my team is in some trouble. Should've gone with Woods but did not expect him to pace Uran. Dan Martin is looking ok.

Somewhat frustrated to see Uran not respond to Geraint? Was this tactical or inability?

I say Sagan again tomorrow on stage 7, but really I feel like Michael Matthew will nab it. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the sob story posted after his loss the other day.

How about G today? He was getting the Kaiser Jan 2.0 doughnut boy shade, and dropped 5 sec the other day, but all present and correct on the steep gravel road.

I hope that does not bode poorly for me with those teams creeping up on my heels. Fortunately, one of them does not seem to be @SpinClassSara who, in her first go at this, is probably crushing us all and just hasn't gotten around to signing up for the league.

I think my intentional picks of Nibali and Ewan, and my fat finger pick of the Rider of Rohan, will be my demise. All I can hope for is: a) me to be wrong (so rare, but it does happen), and/or b) my seeing it coming like a freight train takes the edge off the pleasure that will be experienced by @one4smoke soon and eventually D Broox when he moves through @ooga-booga and then me.

Tomorrow? Elia v. Dylan. I hope Dylan's dad in his new touring van gets to see something happen other than Teunnison or van Aert take it for the J-V team.
