PB Superflash rack mount?

Has anyone mounted their PB Superflash to their rack? If so how?

Rack Mounts

For future reference, you can mount any lamp originally designed for seatpost mounting to the back of your rack by cutting a 1-1/2 inch piece of one inch diameter PVC pipe, drilling a hole through this at the top, drilling a hole through the top rear of the rack, then mounting this to the rack by notching the top of the pipe at a 90 degree angle to the drilled hole so that you can screw the assembly into the rack top rear bar. The screw enters the pipe, passes through the rack bar, then exits the other side of the pipe and is held with a nut. Tough to describe, but it results in a short vertical pipe onto which you can mount the lamp.

If I'm going to drill my rack couldn't I just drill holes for the PB rack mount instead of the PVC nonsense?

My first PB suberflash didn't come with a small enough rack mount so -- instead of the PVC -- just widened the rack tubing with old tire tube. The new ones come with small enough diameter mounts.

I have mine mounted horizontally on the extreme rear of the rack, brighterside on the left (where traffic is more likely to be).
