Hello folks
I haven't done this type of thing before so please bear with me. I'm just returning to my childhood hobby of bicycle riding. This time 'round it's for fitness (gotta drop some poundage) as well as pleasure. Thanks to a couple of weeks lurking in the shadows here I've decided on picking up a Surly Cross-Check. I've researched many bicycles, test rode several, and feel that the CC will be a fine ride for me to accomplish my goals for now. I travel often for work and hope to meet many of you out on the streets, paths, trails, etc....! I know that I'll be posting pics of my CC as soon as I get it, as well as asking many questions as it's been many, many years since I've ridden regularly. Anyway, I'm happy to be here and excited to begin logging miles. Oh yeah, also I need to add that Computers and me, well we are like H2O and Electricity.....not the best of friends As I've said, bear with me, I'll get it sooner or later. lol.

10 Wheels,
I'll be in the Birmingham, AL area for the next several months, then I'm going to be in the Brunswick, GA area for a few months. After that it's looking like the DC/NOVA area then on to Tuscon (Hopefully). Currently my job does not permit me to establish roots just yet. I ride mostly on the road but love having the option to "see where this path/trail goes" etc.... The great thing about all of my travel is meeting people and seeing where I may wish to reside after I retire. Thanks for your welcome. I'm happy to be here.
