And for your second paragraph, it's not something that neither of us wants to do right now. I also want to cross the country all at once rather than a section at a time. Part of it, for me, is me getting from the Pacific to the Atlantic all by my power. The bicycle will get me there far more efficiently, but it will be done all by my generated power.
