I tried a Barbra once, turns out I prefer Ashleys
Why not use, oh I don't know, gloves? Or mittens?

The delivery guys in my neighborhood make their own pogies by using several plastic grocery bags. It's both economical and ugly.

Can you say MEGA WIND RESISTANCE? I think individual pogies would be a lot better. Besides the volume inside that barbra is a lot to keep warm compared to pogies or even large mittens.
Cheers

In another thread somewhere, clear, rigid plastic hand protectors looked pretty good for cold weather riding.
Gloves are fine for me down to 20f, but I can see a use for a little extra wind protection on very cold days, or to get away with lighter gloves.

With my my gloves or my mittens I can take a drink while rolling, and my hands don't get cold. Also, once in a while I look at my computer.
I can also give turn signals without getting cold hands. I do have to be bare handed to answer my phone. From doing this I have learned that hands get cold quickly if it's cold enough. Say, below freezing. I can shift and brake my brifters fine with gloves or mittens. Been doing it for a couple of decades. In the cold I also have a thermometer on the bars, and always a light. I like to see the bars.

I could see that working in my particular situtation. I have trekking/butterfly bars on my rig. I would need to void the warranty, because of my Winkku turn signals. I think a small handwarmer could be velcroed in there, for extra warmth.
