You had to have had at least an inkling that it was gonna look like a big soup bowl on top of your head...how could you look at that pic and not know? If you only wear it at night, then no one will notice...

I thought the same. I really wanted the version with the shield on it. When i tried it on a the shop i thought i looked worse than my current atmos. I said this on another thread and i was classified as an ignorant baboon with no acceptance of different life forms and opinions lol.
i may wait for the aero helmet that specialized came up with. Hopefully it looks like i thought the attack would look.

...there's a local guy that got a trial one from specialized, its actually the pharma/quickstep team helmet, I think it might be a little different. I think the back looks funny on them.
Of course, this is coming from the guy that now has a soup bowl for a helmet.
edit: ugh, thats a horrible picture of me. That was 70 miles into a century on a 105+ degree day...you can see the salt buildup in my hair. I also needed to shave.

Hey Ed I like your jersey, where did you find it?
BTW:
I tried the Giro Prolight, & it looked like I was wearing a mushroom. Same goes for all Giros. Can't fit medium, but large is too big.
MET's fit, & look best on my huge noggin.
I recently picked up Specialized Prosero II, & I like it, the vents are nice when its hot out.
Its a bit mushroomy, but far less than the Giros.
Thought about the S-Works but didn't bite.

I like the Specialized Prevail (think thats the one) helmets too, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Perhaps one day. The cool thing about Specialized helmets is I can scratch off the "iz" and it'll say Special ed, haha. I'm a dork.

But I actually like mine and have been using it since I got it a couple months back. I still have an Atmos and a Catlike Whisper Plus but still continue to choose the Giro AA Shield.

That reminds me of a Brooklyn, NY based bicycle shop called SPCarbon. They sell open mold frames, wheels, etc. painted with their "SP" logos for an overpriced, ridiculous amount of $$$. It looks like they took the first two letters, "SP" from Specialized to come up with their logo.

I wore the air attack to work today...although it did not make me faster, (ha!) from a distance its not so bad while wearing sunglasses (I go by some mirrored/windowed buildings and I checked myself out. Looking good!) I have to agree with KantoBoy, the power ranger is an accurate representation. Perhaps I should pick up a morph suit...I'd have my halloween costume all taken care of.
