Made a dumb mistake

I plan on going on a bike only tour using my Focus Thron2 6.8. I will bike to destinations and spend several days riding MTB routes. So, I wanted tires with less rolling resistance than my Minions and lighter wheels than the heavy duty on there presently. After several days of searching and verifying compatibility, I picked up a Crossmax wheel set and Continental Race King tires, brake rotors and using an 11 s cassette already in possession. (saved 2 kg) All came in and other than the tires taking an hour to mount because they were so tight, all went well. Yesterday, I wanted to test the system out, so I loaded up the bike, planned a picnic and started off. First thing I get is an error message on my display, motor not engaging. Took me a couple of minutes, then realized, I did not pick up a magnet to mount on the rear wheel for the motor sensor.
On order, and hope it gets here on time. Even the smallest objects can stop the best laid plans

Why can't you use the magnet from the old set of wheels? At least until a new one arrives.

This latest system from Bosch mounts the magnet on the brake rotor using the bolts that hold on the rotor. If the new one does not arrive on time, will use that one
