My new road bike
I just bought a 2007 Bianchi 1885 Veloce. Al frame w/ Carbon Seatstays. Carbon seatpost, stem and fork. Al wing shaped bars. Campy Veloce grouppo and Campy Khamsin wheelset. Look Keo Classic pedals. I was hoping to afford a carbon framed bike but in the end I prefered the Veloce Grouppo over the 105 and/or ultegra the other bikes were spec'd with. It replaces a 2003 Trek 1000 I sold last year.
It rides great but the rider needs to get back into shape <G>!

Just got my white GrabTheHudz campy brake hoods. I'll be subjecting them to rigorous testing in the weeks to come. Out of the package I could see that the moulding wasn't perfect, there were a few spots where a bit of plastic was jutting out of the seams, but I trimmed the extra bits with a pair of small scissors and everything looked okay after that.
They felt rather nice and comfy to the touch, much like the rubber Shimano hoods, but the texture was smoother. The white hoods couldnt conform perfectly to my Fizik bar tape like my stock campy hoods did. But since these are their first production batch, I could understand GrabTheHudz for the shortcomings.
I'll be posting up more close up pics and a detailed review (just like the one I did on the Brooks leather bar tape) when Im done with the testing. Till then, here are some early shots.
PS : Review of Rapha's Crochet Gloves coming up soon too. Happy reading

It's getting there.
Hmm, the rear brake cable looks weird, but that's just cause it isn't actually routed anywhere yet.

Maybe you have tried this, but I think another check on your saddle angle could help. Check that your arse bones are in the right place in relation to your saddle, and maybe tilt the saddle nose up a tad. It may save you the cost of another saddle.

After getting messed up on my last fitting, I went back today and get fitted with new bars, and luckily, I brought some extra stems. The stem is a 120mm Ritchey WCS mated to a new set of Deda Newton deep drops. I'm going to get a new Deda stem soon enough.
Anyways, I found out today that one of the reasons why my back ached on the bike was because I was so low, and my coach had the idea to "n00bify" the stem and de-flip it. I've still got lots of saddle-bar drop, and according to the Body Geometry fitting standards, my torso in the hoods should be at a 45º in comparison with level from the hips for proper breathing. I'm still too low, but comfortable. IIRC I'm at 43º.
I also got my steer tube cut. Those are my new S-Works shoes in orange, too.
