What Bianchi have we here?
Here is a local Bianchi which uses cantilevers and a long wheelbase. I see an Ishiwata 22 sticker. Anyone have a clue as to the geneology and heritage of this model?

It has be largely rebuilt but the subject bicycle started it's life as a circa 1984 Bianchi Randonneur. These frames were not 022 but Ishiwata Magny V. Manufactured in Japan, they were Bianchi's attempt at a grand touring bicycle, being better conceived and executed that the earlier Nuovo Touring and Rallye models.
