Any information re Mavic CXP-14 wheels?

I have a spare set of Mavic CXP-14 aero wheels and am trying to learn more about them. Any information or pics of bikes with these wheels?

Thx

I have one kicking around right now. From what I can tell, they're the predecessor to the current-model CXP 33, which are decent-but-not-amazing aero rims. They're pretty popular amongst fixed gear riders, as a somewhat cheaper alternative to the Velocity Deep V.

CXP-14s were the deepest profile aftermarket rims Mavic made circa 2000, I think. I remember them being available in silver or titanium finish, and each rim coming with a baggie filled with removeable eyelets, a tool, and a valve extender.
Google Images is good for photos.

I got an insurance payout when I crushed my daily rider Nishiki into the side of a van that veered left in front of me. I bought a new Lemond Tourmalet with an RSX/105 drivetrain and CXP 14 rims. Mid quality for the time but they held up very well for several years and I'm generally hard on rims. Not classic in style but peel the decals off and they're not too deep section like new stuff.

I have a set laced to Ultegra 9-speed hubs and they have been very good for me---I am hard on them and haven't had them go out of true yet. They don't do much for me aesthetically but they look nice on a steel bike.

I'm thinking about putting them on my polished 1998 Litespeed Ultimate, or would that be entirely too silver pimped out?

I've never actually seen them in new condition. Do the have MSWs?
