Masi or Norco? Please help!

Hey everyone, so today i went to my LBS and saw to bikes i liked. The first was the masi speciale uno drop black. The second was a Norco spade. Im not quite familiar with these two brands so if anyone could give some insight on which i should get, that would be wonderful. Are they good bikes? Thanks for any help!

They're both pretty similar and have comparable components. Personally, if I were to choose between the two I'd go with that Masi.

Where are you located? If you're in Canada, the shipping charge on a Kilo quickly makes it not worth it.

The kilo is over all of a lower quality, but also has the lower price. But the biggest difference will be buying from a shop means you will get a bike functioning right out of the shop without much worry, and a guarantee that if anything is wrong it will get fixed right away. I would go for the Masi or the Norco, which are pretty much the same so you have to look at fit then style for your choice. Ride them both and see what you like, another advantage of getting a bike at a shop.

I always chuckle whenever the first or second response I see says nothing but "kilo tt"

hahahaha, that's the default answer for any question I'd presume.
I don't know much about the Norco, but my buddies have Masi and I've gave them a spin and they felt pretty darn good. They seem to like the brand as well.

Good luck!

I can't tell for the Masi but I have a Norco Spade 2011 and I like it a lot. A little bit more then 750 km this year and no problem at all. The 42t chainring is a little bit too small for me but is a personal preference. At this time of the year you should be able to negociate and pay less for the bike.

The white tires and handelbar on the Masi look good but for how long ? Beside that, both bikes seems to be similar and to have the same quality of components.

Good luck .

I've never heard of Norco.
Everyone knows Masi.

So there's that.

The Masi every one knows is very different than the current edition. And to that point, ever heard of Orbea? How about Bilinkey? How about MilanoV3?

Just because a company is less well know, doesnt mean its bad. Milano V3 is the direct lineage of the original Masi Bikes.
