21 miles, partly cloudy, 45-50F, slight breeze, although cooler, a nicer day to ride than yesterday with MUCH less wind!

I rode about 5 miles. I have a long ways to go to reach my goals but I am going to make an effort to ride everyday, rain, snow or shine.

25 miles on the blue vintage Trek. 50f weather with light winds and sunny skies made for a perfect lunch-time ride. The next 10 days look mild, I hope to add 250 miles before December.

18 miles, just a run to the LBS for new "shoes" for the trekking hybrid. Got some new 700Cx32 Vittoria Randonneur's, I REALLY love the flat protection, "double shielding" of these tires. I DO NOT recommend Serfas Seca tires with FPS, I've never gotten so many flats in a short time as with these tires, jmho, ymmv.

About 31 miles today. 50f weather and sunny skies. My heartrate hit 176 bpm during the first 5 miles of the ride.

35.4 miles on the tandem with my sweetie. It was actually a "pre-recovery" ride in preparation for a birthday ride tomorrow with JJScaliger, 73 miles which actually overshoots the target by 9. Today was cool, not much wind but high temps a bit below 50F. Tomorrow will be about the same except that we'll be starting earlier.

Memo to self: Get to bed early tonight.

42 miles this am. Wind was kicking my butt(gusts of 22mph-sustained of 14). More than half was fighting a headwind or oblique crosswind(essentially a headwind). Only on small sections was it a tailwind.

39 miles. I started at 7:30 and was greeted by sun, calm air and sub-freezing temps. Frost covered the grass for the first hour of the ride.

A nice easy 17 mile stretch of the legs today. The only hassle was the 22 mph South winds gusting to 32 mph.

Rode a birthday ride, three days late and 6 miles more than strictly necessary. BF member JJScaliger took me on a 70.64 run from western Rhode Island into northeastern Connecticut, south and then back to RI. Over 3000ft of climbing too. And we were chasing sunset. It was a good day!

I haven't been posting up my rides because, mostly, of time constraints. And the shorter days.

Rode with husband and 2 girlfriends, one of whom crashed 3 wks. ago and wanted a moderate pace & a smaller group with whom to ride for her first ride post-crash. It was a beautiful morning for a ride.

On Saturday I completed the 111 mile tour de Tucson. It was a perfect day for riding, cool a little overcast and not much wind. I was able to better my time from last year by over an hour! Although not fast I am proud of my 16.4 avg moving speed over the 111 mile course which as a few hills and a couple of places where you must walk your bike.
