2014 Sirrus Sport Axle Length

So I need new wheels on my Sirrus Sport. Rims have held up, but the bearings are wearing out. I measure 135 with a caliper, but I'm wondering if this is a 132.5mm frame that can do both and it's just being pushed out for the 135mm. Anyone know for sure? Hub options are better with 130mm hubs now that most 135mm hubs are set up for disc brakes.

So, what result do you get when you remove the wheel and measure the frame with your calipers?

Couldn't tell you. Measured quickly with wheel on before I left the house and we're out of town. Ideally I'd order the hubs this weekend and have new wheels by Friday.

If you're gonna build/spec the wheels yourself, there's very little - if any - practical disadvantage from using a disc brake hub for a rim brake wheel. Neither rim or hub cares what's on the other end of the spoke.
One could even say such a wheel offers a certain level of future-proofing.

Why not overhaul the hubs?

They barely lasted two years. Cheap knock off hub. Probably cost me just as much to overhaul.

If they are 135s on a 132.5 frame or they are actually 130s, but if my measure point was off then I'd be ordering the wrong hub. Again, I quickly measured on my way out the door and didn't think much about it until I stared looking at options.

There is also never going to be a time where I'd want a bike with disc brakes. I'd use downtube shifters if I could get a frame with the mounts.

Should anyone come looking for the answer on this down the road, I received an answer from Specialized this morning that it's 135mm.

Oh good grief. This morning I get an email from Specialized that it's 130 unless it's a disc model. I'll measure the stinking thing when I get home tomorrow and post the result.

Took the wheel off an measureed. 135mm between the stays. Specialized still insistng 130mm is fine, maybe it is if you want to squeeze it.

Found Deore hubs with 135mm and a steel axle. Going with it...
