Dang helmetless hipster flippers on their fixies w/ Rivendell parts!

Just thought I'd get all of the hot-button topics in one thread. Plus a pic!

Even tattoo ink couldn't get under my skin any worse than a flipper helmet fixed on a hipster.

(What'd you say again?)

Shoot - and I was certain it was those helmetless hipster fixie flippers taking their grinders to a Rivendell whilst drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon next to their tattooed girlfriend, passing enough methane gas that the A&S forum started a thread to complain about the additional ozone layer damage.

But I think they were using their grinders to remove the double top tube, so that's okay.

Knowing hipsters, they'd cut the top one.

If it weren't for bike-ignorant hipster kids with their meshback hats and their skinny jeans and their privileged upbringings and their trust funds, I'd have a lot less work on my hands. I just wish I could take their money without having to talk to them.

That poor cat toed up with a polyester lease while his fixie owner went off to the tattoo parlor. Everyone knows it should be a tweed lease, and double stranded. Poor cat must be humiliated.

That cat looks smart enough to know that what other people think about his appearance isn't important.

What's the problem with Rivendell parts, besides the fact that Rivendell usurped a perfectly good name from Tolkien?

There's a hipster/fixie guy who shows up at the train station on my run home. His ultramodern bike has white 5-spoke wheels. He spends the waiting time doing track stands and riding backwards around the parking lot. The other day he showed up with a different bike, pretty spiffy but obviously not as fancy. I mean, the wheels were, like, spoked, you know? How old-fashioned is that? I said "You've got a different bike today." He said "This is my rain bike."<Conversation terminated by server.>

You can, but you'd have to play a decent game of internet poker.
