Fixed Gear "skipping" when accelerating / skidding / pedaling

Yooo, so recently, while i ride my fixie... I started to get these weird "skipping" motions while i either pedal/accelerate/skid. as if i were to be changing gears or something. so if i were to pedal/skid/accel, it would have some jerking motion :3 why is this? a friend told me it was because my lock ring was loose. so i tightened it and it still happened. any ideas?

Your cog & lockring are loose. Properly tighten them with the proper tools (chainwhip for cog; lockring spanner for lockring). Hopefully your rear hub isn't permanently damaged.

also if your chain is not properly tensioned that could cause this behavior too...

Btw, the graphic of the stripped threads is not a hub - just an example of what stripped threads in general look like

I had the same thing happen to me after tightening my cog and chainring and I made sure it wasnt stripped either. I decided to regrease my bottom bracket that night and when I took out my bottom bracket there was a bearing that had gotten out, I put it back in and no more skipping, you should check that.
