Hello from Surrey UK
Hi all
My name is Dean and I live in Sutton, on the outskirts of London in Surrey. Always been interesting in cycling mainly as an admirer but was a keen cyclist in my teens. I'm a lot older now !
I have two bikes from different era's but both Italian.
The older of the two is a Guarini from early 70's. The other is a Pegoreti Marcelo from 2010
I have just given up motorcycling after 20 years riding Ducati's and decided I need to use the bikes I have in the shed and get back on two wheels.
My biggest problem is that I am having difficulty in getting back on the road with the bikes.
It's a mental thing, riding a motorbike not an issue, riding a pushbike is.
I'll let you know how I get on.
Dean

Welcome Dean. That reluctanc3 to ride on the road is an issue for many. Just take your time riding wherever you like. You’ll get comfortable with time

Hi Dean.
Nice bikes, I hope you've been managing to get out on them. Surrey is a busy area but also beautiful. Try and pick your routes to use the quiet lanes or the downs. There are many cycling clubs there which might help build your confidence. Stay safe and enjoy

Welcome Dean. I'm glad you've found cycling! It can be a jungle out there on the road, but hopefully it's not too much of a barrier,
