Looking for cable anchor for front derailleur
Hi I continue to misfire with fixing my old 21 speed hybrid. Lots of learning through error. I am now looking for the bolt that holds the shifter cable in place on the front derailleur.
I have gone into my bike store with this photo but they said they only have the whole derailleur not the bolt. There must be a simple part that I could buy for this. Would something from Home Depot suffice or is it a specialized part?

Is the nut rounded off? You can use any nut that fits.

It's called a pinch bolt, its washer may be important too. Some have a "tang" that's needed for correct indexing. It's hard to tell from the photo.
