Just hacksaw the same profile but moved over a bit. Drill a new hole in about the same place & reuse the old hardware. Easy-peasy.

Great point. I think I can manage wielding a hacksaw without mangling it too bad.

It worked great- just sawed off a little of the end, filed the edge relatively smooth, drilled a new hole and it mounted just fine.

Nice build.

But why not go with a SKS Chainboard or equivalent?

Perhaps I didn't look hard enough, but when I was looking for a chainguard, I didn't see any retailers in the US that sold those.

It's understandable. Just a future FYI. The end product looks good though.

I've been toying with the idea of a coaster brake non-beach cruiser with flat bars. I kinda want a 2 speed hub like jskita has, but I haven't moved on this idea yet.

Nice job. Metalwork can be a lot of fun.

And your's looks way better than the SKS or anything adjustable. Proper fit parts will always look better than (and be lighter than, probably quieter than, less hassle than...), adjustable ones.

Velo Orange used to have some great ones! Now they only have one left: https://velo-orange.com/products/vo-alloy-chainguard

I ordered one from Woody's for my new bike! Wooden chain guard: https://www.woodysfenders.com/wood-c...ard-cg-401.htm

And there is this Canadian place that also does handmade ones: https://store.velocolour.com/category/chainguards
