Looks nice. Could you give some details about the chainline and the bottom bracket spindle length you've opted for (edit, actually this is an external BB crank, isn't it?), plus how crank arm clearance compares to that of the original? And it'd make for a better organized thread if added details are edited into original posts so all info is easily accessible.
I've been looking at older square taper Campagnolo Record and Chorus cranks and it looks as though chainline and Q-factor ought to be near enough equivalent to shimano cranks using an ISO taper BB of 111mm and chainring on inside of crank, however, availability of suitable chainrings (135 BCD) for single ring setups is questionable.

hi now but what kind do i need campagnolo centaur 111mm or 115,5 mm i can not by them al now i have put a shimano 107mm in my brompton with campagnolo record chanset.

I would be careful using BB's narrower than the Brompton standard of 118/119mm as there is an increased likelihood of your heels striking the EZ wheels due to lack of clearance. You stated that your chainline is an issue with your upgraded crankset and the 119mm BB. Have you tried placing your chainring on the inside of the crankset spider?

yes i did the chainring on the inside, the chainline is the same as the original. My heels don`t strike the ez wheels. my chainring is 26,5 from the seat tube its the same as the original

I would not put a Campy crank on a Shimano spindle. As I have said before and fietsbob has said the taper is different and in some cases can ruin your crank. Read this page here and it will give you a primer on what you need. The original ISO crank, so pre 2013 Brompton (or so) used an ISO spindle of 119mm. In other words if I were you and I owned that crank I would buy a bottom bracket that was as close to 119 as possible. If you only have a choice between the 111 and the 115.5, I would purchase the 115.5. Sometimes it just comes down to trial and error and hoping for the best.
If the 119 you have now is JIS then the crank will sit 4.5mm farther out on each side. Which is essentially is a 128 mm and yes the chain line would be bad. What taper is your 119?

Hi guys,
cheking back kind of once a year on this project and then putting it on hold again I realise.
But this time my BB is simply ready to be replaced, making me tinker again about changing the crankset alltogether.
Anyone has a hint towards some more sporty cranks, preferably black, maybe even carbon if not completely busting the bank, that would fit a brommie?

Schlumpf Speed drive, a 34t, acts like a 54t when you kick it into Overdrive ..
gearbox is black.. crankarms are, optionally, black.. as is the disc trouser guard .
the gearbox assembly includes the BB & special axle, for the shifting is thru the axle with crank cap buttons.
(I own their Mountain drive .. reduction gearbox , 50t acts as if a 20t when engaged)
but this is off topic on a thread about lighter and prettier cranks on their bikes ..
....

Can someone tell me whether the post 2013 Brompton crankset has enough clearance at all points to be situated inwards by a millimeter on both sides, or two millimeter on the left side? I have a 119mm TA axix bottom bracket and the taper seems to be neither JIS nor ISO but somewhere in between and I'm wondering whether I could use it. I have to abandon my old octalink cranks as the splines inevitably spread and they end up creaking... shame as the cranks were super-light and stiff.

In my memory you have a bit more to work with on the left hand side - can't say about right. In addition the Brompton cranks sink in relatively far. I.e. if you were to run out of space you could swap just the left crank for anything else and gain extra space.

I finally got around to installing the Axix 119mm bb and it fits OK. I assume the chainset sits inwards slightly compared to the stock bb but it doesn't appear to cause any problems. It's a shame to have to abandon my nice dura-ace octalink cranks but such a relief to have a bike free of creaks again.

Hi,
I know the OP is about changing the crankset, but wondered if anyone has an old (stronglight rebadged) pre-2013 Brompton 44t crankset lying around in the back of the garage that they can sell me? (well, it's only the chainring I need).
Doesn't need to be mounted to a bike (so it's ok if it's worn), it's just for photos of the brommiemods aluminium chainguards we manufacture.
I am happy to make a reasonable offer and pay for it to be posted to the UK.
Any takers?
