You can't beat Cygolite for 1) battery life, 2) one button press activation.

I've been using Niterider Solas 100 tail lights for years. Great light and it only takes about 30 minutes to charge from dead. $40 on Amazon.

So because of the heat I have been riding in the darker hours of the day. Last night I rode until after 9pm, so completely dark. Its pretty fun and crazy actually. Really enjoying the night riding except the bugs of course.
I have the Garmin UT800 headlight, works great. Got it on sale and a great buy. I have two cheap tail lights that don't last very long at all on a charge and are not very good at all. So I am needing a suggestion for a really good tail light.
Requirements if possible:
Chargeable, decent battery life, mounting options if possible like rear frame and/or seat post. Price under $75 if possible but not a deal breaker.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Are the Garmin Varia RTL515 taillights worth the cost? I want the radar function but also want a bright flasher in the back. Anyone have an opinion on the RTL515 taillight?

I am working on the wife still, no dice. I think I will go with cyclo…..second best option for what I can get locally.

My tail light is the Cygolight Hotshot Pro, which is about 200 lumens. It probably doesn't matter what kind of light you use, so long as it's reliable, which most are. I also suggest always having the light on the blinking setting, that has been proven to catch someone's attention significantly better than a constant light. Additionally, having a blinking light helps to prolong battery life. Also, I use a tail light even in the middle of the day, can't be too safe.
Works very well. Secures well with the rubber strap. It is quite bright and I could see it well from more than a kilometre away.
Battery lasts me 3-4 rides; of course depending on the mode chosen.

Definitely worth the cost. I have sold at least two of my friends/other riders on the benefit of the Varia after they've been out riding with me and seen/heard the Varia in action. I don't leave home without the Varia now.
