This seems like an interesting bike. If it's seriously got dura-ace components, I think it's worth the $130 asking price.

It's a 1982, in either 25" or 27". I have one and it rides nicely. $200 might be a bit high in this condition but if it's your size and you're looking for a vintage touring bike it would be a good catch.

I did email the guy. I think it's my size but I'll test ride it to make sure. If it's still available, I'm gonna get it.

At the very least it'll make a good commuter bike.

Thinking of offering $300 for this one...it's not my size, but it could be a decent part-out. If there's anyone it would fit, I'd be willing to facilitate.

Very Tall Lotus Road Bike - $275 (Arlington)

Date: 2010-05-07, 7:46PM EDT
Reply to: sale-yzamt-1729930572@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Very Clean and perfectly tuned 27" Lotus Excelle Sport 12 speed. This bike is a 27" frame. Good for folks AT LEAST 6' 3" tall. Alloy wheels & components, light weight tripple butted Chome Moly frame (reynolds 4130 tubing). Shimano Tourney Crank set, & Shimano 600 deraileurs. Handle bar end shifters, nice foam handlebar grips, Selle San Marco Seat. Very clean, always stored in-doors and runs perfectly. Nice Rear alloy bike rack. Top tube is relatively short for frame height. As such, this is a great bike for folks with lower back pain/iseues. More pics availible. Bike measures 37.5" off ground so this is truly a basketball players bike (if you don't wear at least 36" inseem pants, this bike is too tall for you). Horizontal drop-outs with adjustable stops so bike could also be used for a great fixed/singlespeed conversion.

This is a nice, large size (22" seat-tube) bike in excellent condition. I'm 6' and can ride this bike comfortably.
The step-through design is great for a taller woman or anyone who doesn't want to hassle with a too-tall top tube.
There is no rust on this bike, always kept in doors. Not ridden much in the past few years. It would be hard to find a better example.
Great Mother's Day gift!! Thanks for looking.

Robbie, I had a LeTour mixte IV last year (1979 vintage). That one you posted is a pretty good deal. Hard to find mixtes in larger sizes. Mine below was a 19 inch.

With your college town market, a mixte should sell well.

Silly question, (and your garage is midget sized) for mixte frame size are they measured same as others?

Not trying to start an argument with any Continental owners, just trying to explain my apparently cryptic post.
