Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New seat bag. My old Pedro's Blowout bag (made in part from recycled inner tubes) had a blowout.

This is the Pedro's Ethik bag. Made out of the same kind of material as those reusable grocery bags.

Kool Stop Salmon pads.

I put them on the Specialized Langster, Boston edition, that I got yesterday. I'll take some pics eventually.

Prior to that was an Easton EA90SL wheelset, complete with a Red cassette and Red-specific freehub. Nice, nice wheels, and they went on my CAAD8.

Hi, AXIOM makes them. But I got them from a different company cheaper. I really like it. It's sits ok on my bike rack and has a twisty lock thing that keeps it from bouncing off. I haven't filled them totally but I love the side pocket and if you need more room, they sell it as a double pannier too. I like the rust colored one personally.

AXIOM https://www.axiomgear.com/products/gear/bags/

I got it for 25 bucks from EBikeStops AXIOM site has the same for $50. On the AXIOM site they don't show all the styles but you can select them. https://www.ebikestop.com/bags_panniers))130.php

For the fiancee: a new pair of Pearl Izumi fingerless gloves.

For me: a coffee cup bell. (link to pic on someone's flickr, no idea if other photos are NSFW or not) Cry "Fred" all you like, but it clears the peds when I'm commuting on my roadie.

Good choice Platy. I have that one. I used it before my PT, it's very nice. It's still on my MTB.
