Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

1 if you use silver components, 3 if you use black components (and replace the stem with one that's either black or white).

What are we supposed to be comparing?
Aside from the fact that the one at the top has pale tires and is turned the "wrong" way, the only readily apparent difference is in the lighting, which is so noticeable that it makes it hard to tell what's going on.

Ooh. I know. It's number one. That's the one that's not like the others. Right?

Man, some people are really anal about their bikes looks.

The first one has different tires and the third pic is way overexposed.

Is there a fourth option where the stem isn't pointed skyward on a huge stack of spacers?

I am also left guessing what we are comparing. OP, you need closer shots or just say what the choices are. I guess all three have different wheels? FWIW, I selected #1 for tire color aesthetics. Although I like the white on the hub flanges in #3.

Sure, after all, it's completely built as is.

Anyway, going w/ no. 1

Crappy pics, yep! But you got the gist.

They do get bigger when you click'em.

Though seeing the overflow from the hot or not thread was worth the laugh.

All else being equal (model, make, dimensions) white tyres have slightly worse grip than the black ones.

So I'd choose between 2 and 3. 3 because of the slightly deeper rims.

Option 2. Option 1 does look a little better, but white tyres won't stay white very long, they do perform a little worse than black all other things being equal, and you have a wider choice of good tyres in black than in white. Both 1 and 2 will need a silver groupset and white saddle and bar tape, of course.

#2. I like the warm green walls. The grey walls in 1 and 3 are too cold and antiseptic.

Obviously we're comparing white balance settings on your cell phone camera, so I'd say #2 is the most natural. 1 and 3 are too cool and your lens appears to be smudged.

Yup. Go with the green. Your house would look like an insane asylum if you paint it that awful grey.
