Android Wahoo Ticker App recommendation?
I'm looking for the ability to do HR zone training with an audible alert when I go out of desired HR zone. The Play Store has numerous apps that track workouts but it's not clear if they have the zone alerts. I had a Polar setup that supported this that died recently and I don't want to coin for a bike computer and 2nd HR strap, seems like there has to be this feature in one of the apps.

If I'm recalling correctly the Cyclemeter app has that feature. I haven't used it for a couple of years and didn't have a heart rate monitor at the time. It's available for iPhone and Android now, but was iPhone only when I had a subscription. I'm not sure whether the free trial version includes the user customizable features. It's about $10 a year.
I've set my inexpensive XOSS G+ cycling computer to sound an alarm when I exceed 160 bpm. My max HR was 173 when I checked last year, probably a little lower now. When I hear the 160+ bpm alarm I know to adjust my effort, depending on whether I'm doing intervals or sprinting up a climb to safety merge with traffic. There are a couple of areas along my routes where it would be risky to redline and suddenly gas out, so the alarm helps me maintain a sustainable effort.

Thanks for recommendation for app and mention of computer. I tried my Tickr with the Polar computer but it wasn't compatible.

It looks like there is something in CycleMeter. it depends on the type of activity. apparently you can select a target to notify you of. but it looks like it is only one target, either distance, cadence, heart rate, or...i forget. also, it looks like you can select a minimum target and maximum target. have not done this and don't really have any inclination to try but maybe it will work for you.
if you are really interested i would contact the developers. they are very good about responding to questions, usually in 1 or 2 days.
