1970s Cinelli Super Corsa

So a Cinelli Super Corsa popped up for sale in my area at what I deem a super low price ($400) but not photos which made me suspicious. I requested the photos and got the ones below. Obviously none of the components are original, down to the headset which is a shame. It looks like it was painted at some point, even the dropouts (also a shame), and then made a single speed. The bottom bracket photo shows a Cinelli stamp and a 105 serial number so that date and make check out, but can't confirm the model. The dropouts are Columbus which is also inline with some Cinelli Super Corsas. Is this frame, as is, worth $400? I've seen original condition Super Corsas sell for $1000+, but this doesn't seem to be in that category. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t think that’s a Super Corsa.

I doubt that this frame is a Cinelli.

...the "Cinelli" on the BB confuses people sometimes. Cinelli made and sold these to a lot of other frame makers.
I probably have "Cinelli" BB shells on a dozen bikes out in the garage. None of them are Cinelli frames except one of them.

The lug work on Cinelli frames is usually pretty distinctive, and that frame seems not to have it.

$400 does seem a little on the high side, given the current state of the paint, and the unknown marque.

Earlier than that, the lugs have a distinctive set of drillings, usually.

.
...here is a long article with a lot of frames and lug work to look at.

+1. No clue what it is, but 99.99% sure it is not a Cinelli and 100% sure it isn't a Super Corsa/Speciale Corsa. The seller is either (1) shining you on or (2) knows nothing about Cinellis.

Is it worth $400? Since it is the proverbial pig in a poke, Id' say no.

Saw just the frame...

I also looked at this bike but it was the frame only. It presented very well however the indication of the bottom bracket did not convince me as many bikes have these cast BB. After some online investigation, I concluded it was a Bertoni frame, mainly due to the pump nub found on the reverse side of the head tube. The fork crown also looked like it could be a Bertoni. I decided against it and spent the $$ instead on a Colnago Sport on eBay.
