Saving brake hoods

Is there any type of clear glue or epoxy that I can use to fill in the cracks to keep them from getting worse? Thanks

Bikes: too many sparkly Italians, some sweet Americans and a couple interesting Japanese

The only thing I have found that helped with hoods is Aerospace 303, lots of light applications.

Glycerin - seems to work on some brands of hoods, on others it doesn't seem to do much. But it's not expensive, widely available at grocery/drug stores.
It doesn't really fill anything in, but can help with suppleness.
I just lather it on [inside too if possible to remove the hoods] and let it sit a while - overnight is good.
