My plan for this weekend is to hop a 6:10 a.m. flight to Missoula, MT tomorrow morning to start a two-week tour through the northwest part of the state that also includes two days in ID. Bike will be waiting for me at REI assembled and ready to ride. I'll be taking lots of photos and reading a lot in camp.
Top that!

I'd rather ride on Friday. Rode to Creal Springs once home to health curing wells like one behind bike. Guess not so healthy because the took off the pump handles and signs what the water was good for.

Heading out to get in a (hopefully) long ride today. Got roped into taking my 92 year old mom to a graduation party tomorrow on what is supposed to be a beautiful day. I guess I can ride in the morning.
Sunday, will do whatever the hubby wants since it's father's day. If he feels like taking the bikes somewhere for an adventure, I'll go with. If he doesn't, I may join the group ride in the morning because I would be home long before he even thinks about getting up.
I have a 300 mile goal for the month of June so have to get those miles in.

If it doesn't rain on Sunday, I'm planning to do a group gravel ride in SE Minnesota. 47 mile ride plus ride to and from the ride should make a good 80 mile or so day.
Otherwise, I really need to clean my house. And garage. And do a few paint touchups. None of that is likely to actually happen.

This thread exists solely because it doesn't and I think that it should.
The rules are simple. You can only post on friday and on monday. Post on friday to rejoice and to share your plans for the weekend. Post on monday to tell us how it went (or how bad your hangover is). Anybody who posts outside of that is a wa*ker.
Ready?
I'll go first, this weekend I'm gonna do some adjustments on the whip. I need to fix some chain tension and bb clicking issues. I've got a fresh chip on the frame too, might do a touch up job. Overall wash and wax would be good too.
I'm reading a really good book, I'd like to make some serious progress unlike what I do during my half hour breaks at work.
Go for a photograpghy sesh with my film camera. Watch some anime in the evening? I might call my gran too, haven't talked to her in a while.

This weekend though will be special though since the wife and I will take our bicycles by car and visit our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren and go for a ride in the park on Father's Day. The grandchildren 4 and 1½ will be riding in a trailer pulled by their father.
Funny that you should mention film cameras since just the other day I was going through my old collection of cameras to make sure that there were no corroding batteries in them. Only the Konica FT-1 had a problem with its AAA batteries in the motor drive. The silver oxide batteries in the Nikons were still good, the batteries were previously removed from the Minolta X700, Olympus XA, and Pentax K1000. My medium format TLR's, Mamiya and Rolleiflex, do not have a light meter and the shutters are all mechanical. I ordered new batteries from Amazon for thbe 35mm SLRs and they will be delivered on Saturday. I intend to take a few on the bike ride Sunday just to take pictures of children the old fashioned way which I used to enjoy so much.

Tomorrow I have stuff to do around the house, on Sunday I'll put 45-55 miles on the roadie unless the mtn bike speaks louder than the road bike does.
