Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Agreed. We got it out of our system guys, understandably. But let's not take it any further, please.

All we need is for one person to disagree, and then BOOM.

Tonight I'll be riding Stage 2 of Tour de Zwift, which will be on the Innsbruck Short Lap, which is the 2018 UCI women's course. There's a 7km climb smack dab in the middle of it, 6% average but some pitches up to 11%. In theory, this is no worse than Old La Honda or Kings Mountain are IRL, but we'll see. I swapped out the Ritchey (53/39 x 12-28) for the Bianchi (50/34 x 12-27) and tried that out last night. It gives me something like ONE lower gear.

I've been running Zwift at 100% Trainer Difficulty on the Snap. I haven't decided whether to cut back to 50%. I'll still have to put out the same watts for the same speed, but it feels a bit like cheating. Then again, I now do my climbs on a bike with a 36x34 low gear, but I don't have a thru-axle adapter to run it on the Snap. Probably better get that before the Alpe du Zwift stage, eh?

I have cleat covers for that. Really helps, since most of the floors in our house are either vinyl or oak. I have no desire to go skating while taking my bike out for a ride.

I started watching before you added the tl;dr, and assumed it was him hearing a previous drummer's work and replicating it.

Certainly not hearing a song once and creating a perfectly curated companion part. Those tom fills during the unison parts are so good.

Yeah, that's why I added the tl;dr. I had the same assumption the first time I'd watched and, watching semi-distractedly (or at least that's my excuse), I didn't even realize that there were no drums until he was halfway through the listen.
