Those early - mid 90’s steel stumpy’s had the loveliest rear dropouts. Could you guys please post up a few close ups of those dropouts? Pretty please?

Yep thats the stumpy, though I'm not 100% sure about it being an '85. And yes I live in California. It is a lovely rider, though also quite heavy. With the baskets and all i think this thing weighs close to 50lbs!

full disclosure
I am an addict. I can't pass up a bike that I believe I can breathe new life into. In the beginning I tried too stick with certain winners Mongoose IBoc Comp, Univega Range Rover, First Gen Eddie Fisher, Kamikaze Shox and on....
In the first 2 years I had 4 stolen and realized my garage was being watched!!!!
Then I got a beautiful Bianchi frame with Campy crank and BB which I lovingly restored. I purchased a huge chain and combination lock but one summer afternoon fell asleep outside the UC Berkeley campus with my bike and back pack by my side. The chain was in the pack with the lock open to the combination. The pack also contained...(yeh stoopid)
I woke to find my bike and pack gone..
I had had enough.....perturbed!!!
finding a friend with a car we went to every tent city until finally I went to the spot were the XXXXXX hung out
I was extremely reasonable not offering money but offering the same treatment a thief would expect in Saudi Arabia if I suspected....
One week later my bike was chained outside the BART. Same combination
Is this a miracle
Cheers

Slush Bike
Here is the slush bike for winter in a small Ohio town. No mountains but slippery when wet.
Hilarious fenders repurposed from on old Huffy or similar.

This is the circa 95 Bianchi Nyala I've owned since new. It's currently in the shop getting a new headset, rear derailleur and deep clean.
