More modern, anyway.
Over the last seven years, I've gotten used to it.

To all of you Cino Riders
Have a great weekend, pack at least two spare tubes(for the clincher folks), have a joke or trick prepared for the bacon lady, and please thank the volunteers.
Enjoy!

Good Luck to all.

Holy Cow! Thomas is going to be even taller than his dad! I remember when that kid was knee-high to a Montana grasshopper.

Nice! Are the front brake pads right?
……You’ll probably need them.

Skinny sewups on a tandem on gravel roads, front brake pads on backwards, what could possibly go wrong?

My wife and I loaded the car and left Berkeley yesterday morning and drive away. Last night was spent in Klamath Falls OR. Tonight, Kennewick WA. Tomorrow, Kalispell. Saturday and Sunday, I ride and my wife drives. (She is looking forward to hitting the hot springs at Alameda's.) It's really happening - I'm finally going to do Cino.
Oh God, what have I gotten myself into?

My wife and I left Beaverton yesterday at about 7 and hit Kennewick around midnight. We had planned to leave early yesterday and drive to Spokane, but we were bringing her Harley up on a U-Haul and I didn't realize until I went to pickup the trailer that I needed a wiring harness. Jeff Bezos saved my bacon with next day delivery, but it came pretty late in the day.
The drive from Spokane to Kalispell is gorgeous. From Kennewick? The drive from Spokane to Kalispell is gorgeous.
My wife will be riding Saturday but not to Hot Springs. She wants the car later in the day, so I'm in search of a ride from Kalispell to Kila on Saturday.

I agree about this being a really long drive.. We passed through Kennewick tonight and are staying in Spokane tonight. You will need to get up at the crack of dawn if you want to make it to the concours and registration tomorrow. After Spokane it is a beautiful drive for sure.

I woke up early in the campground near Spokane... probably something to do with the 13 hour drive yesterday.
See you all in Kalispell tonight.

I am hoping you guys have a great time . This looks like an awesome ride by previous pictures that have been posted , I only wish I could've made it . Plus one on waiting for updates and pictures . I went for a short delivery ride this morning and thought about what it would be like to be looking forward to that kind of challenge instead of pedaling around in a Southern California city with traffic. Stay safe and enjoy.......

I’m so bummed about missing out on the Cino experience that I must just have to go and buy another bike to console myself.

Missing Cino this year is like having to to stay home and go to summer school while all the smart kids get to go to camp and have fun.
