Needs a little polish and wax to bring the paint back to life. Maybe you can get the owner to throw in the tree for fire wood.

Considering those are Pure Fix brand bikes that retail for $390, those prices aren't out of line at all. I'm not commenting on their intrinsic value, they just aren't priced out of line.

That was actually my very first thought! Like I said, not commenting on whether it is a "good" bike or not.

Considering the fine reputation of the frame builder, this is a bit of a slap in the face...

At least they could have gone with a true fixie instead of a single speed with modern brake levers. I guess it is a flip-flop hub, but... I guess this isn't the thread to get into FG vs SS. It is still a travesty, however.

It is better than some CL pics. If you go look at it I might be interested in those old suitcases (assuming there are no body parts in them)

Yeah, and those 9 speed brifters will shift great on that 5 speed freewheel also. I would not be surprised if that's a steel wheel with 120mm spacing crammed into that aluminum frame.

Yes those do appear to be the wrong wheels maybe even 27inch this is one screwed up bike. Trashed drive train no way even with the right wheels the 9speed stuff works and the frame is bent not just dinged scrathed. I can't beleave someone would even try to sell this on saying it's in good condition.
