I guess I don't get it. I like how both the brake's quick releases are open though.

Well if the Zmags are good with smooth hubs and the frameset is solid it is actually worth the asking price or more.

Actually it's not in bad shape, put a set of bars on it probably sell, hard to find that tall of bike used in decent condition.

I think part of that is optical illusion, that really handlebar makes it look a lot weirder than it is. I'd ride it

This Motobecane is probably not a terrible deal at $200, but is the seatpost reversed?

Yes it is kinda terriable the screwed up setup reverse seat over raised to the point of danger stem and poorly setup bars are serious safety issues that are easily correctiable.

Pricewise I see bikes like that in Toronto get sold for that kind of price often, at least they are advertised at that price and go quickly.

I spotted an ad for a $100 Bianchi parts bike and it was gone in 10 minutes. A $200 Bianchi that was ridable went almost as fast. People are agreeing to buy sight unseen.

And (except for the seat) it's all original - including the aero brake levers Wolverine brought with him when he traveled back in time to save the mutants!

Vintage Univega road bike Frameset + extras Great fixie project

"58cm Univega road bike.
Comes with 700c wheels and all extras shown.
Forged dropouts

Stuck seat post.
"

Stuck seat post? looks like someone broke off a tap in the poor old 'vega, how did the rider not realize at some point that the post wasn't fitting?? take notes gents, if you have to hammer it in... don't. might be able to bend the clamp back into shape but would you ever trust the brazing on those seat stays after so much flexing? at $30 I'm half tempted to find out
